Introduction

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association® connects 17,000 women across 130+ global chapters, forming one of the largest communities of amateur women golfers in the world. With members ranging from beginners to lifelong players, the organization’s mission is connecting women of all abilities to learn, play, and enjoy golf. While in-person events have always been at the heart of the experience, LPGA Amateurs recognized the need for a virtual community to strengthen engagement between events, promote learning opportunities, and unify members across locations.

Challenge

In 2021, LPGA Amateurs began searching for a platform that could support:

• Consistent engagement between events, especially across geographically dispersed chapters.
• Education and resource sharing: including golf tips, member resources, and chapter tools.
• Integration with Impexium/re:Members, their AMS, for streamlined access and data syncing.
• A way to bring online and offline member experiences together into one cohesive journey.

They didn’t just want a static member portal. They envisioned a dynamic, interactive hub where members could stay involved, engaged, and build relationships year-round.

Solution - A Seamless, Engaging Virtual Clubhouse

After their evaluation, LPGA Amateurs selected Breezio and began implementation in early 2023. Their platform now serves as the virtual home for members, complementing and enhancing the in-person chapter experience.

How the community supports engagement:

• Chapter-based spaces allow members to interact locally, share updates, and coordinate meetups.
• Event promotion happens within the platform, and members show their community profiles to gain access to member benefits such as LPGA Tour events. 
• Making Chapters stronger – A Leader Community was created for Leader-to-Leader sharing and Chapter Leader Onboarding modules. 
• Post-event conversations continue online, encouraging long-term connection.

How the platform supports education and resources:

• Nearly 300 resources are categorized into 30+ Collections for easy access.
• 100+ "how-to" videos support both golf skills and chapter operations.
• A weekly “Rules of Golf” quiz, embedded directly via Microsoft Forms, offers a fun and gamified learning experience.

Together, these tools create a consistent, valuable experience, whether a member is attending an event or just checking in on the conversation from home.

Results - High Engagement and Real Community Impact

The LPGA Amateurs community has shown strong engagement since launching, with impressive metrics and real-world results:

• 75%+ of members have logged in historically, showing widespread adoption.
• 20%+ of members log in each month in the first year of implementation, exceeding engagement benchmarks.
• Over 65% of discussions receive peer responses, showing authentic, member-driven interaction.
• Some content has received tens of thousands of views and hundreds of comments, showcasing the value and impact it has had on their organization.
